Who We Are

We exist to glorify God by developing fully devoted followers who impact their world for Jesus Christ. We seek to achieve our purpose by helping each of our members focus on six key priorities in their lives.

  • Worshipping God weekly
  • Growing in maturity daily
  • Sharing our faith effectively
  • Connecting with the church regularly
  • Serving other people unselfishly
  • Giving our resources consistently

We Believe

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God. We believe that the Scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation, are truthful and without error in the original manuscripts. The New Testament is the fulfillment of the Law of the Old Testament making it the final authority on all matters of faith and practice.
Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18, 24:35; Romans 15:4; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:17; Colossians 2:14

We believe that there is One God. God is perfect in all His attributes, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In the beginning, God created the universe and all that is within. God created man in His image. Man did not evolve from lower forms of life. God continues to sustain all of Creation by His power.
Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16-19; Hebrews 11:3

We believe that Jesus is God incarnate. Jesus is God’s one and only Son who surrendered His place in heaven to become a perfect man and to pay the debt for our sins by His substitutionary death on the cross. Jesus literally and physically rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of God the Father where He now intercedes on our behalf as our high priest. One day Jesus will return to earth in power and glory to take His people to heaven to be with Him for all eternity.
I Corinthians 15:1-8; Luke 22:69; Acts 1:1-9; Colossians 3:1; Matthew 24:36-42; I Peter 4:5

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. At baptism, the Spirit indwells all believers and empowers them to live the Christian life. He is the assurance, strength and wisdom of every believer.
Acts 2:38; I Corinthians 12

We believe that Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Mankind has a sinful nature as a result of the sin of Adam and Eve, alienating them from God. God, in His grace, made salvation possible by faith in Jesus Christ through repentance and baptism where a believer meets God’s grace.
Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:9; John 3:16; Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38

We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ for His Church.  Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. For all of mankind, when Christ returns, there will be a resurrection of the body into the spiritual world, and each individual will be judged. The saved will be raised to eternal life and the unsaved to everlasting punishment.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Peter 3:3-13

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, consisting of Christians everywhere. The scripture commands believers to gather together and devote themselves to the apostles’ teaching (scripture), prayer, fellowship and the breaking of bread (communion), and service to the church by identifying, developing and using their God given talents to win the world to Christ. The church is to operate under the oversight and protection of elders.
Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:1-6; Matthew 16:13-18; I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9
